XVIII. The Moon
The Moon immerses the Fool in the shadowy realm of his own subconscious—his illusions, emotions, fantasies, and nightmares. It is time for his True Self to confront and finally see All That Is. Bubbling up from ages past come the Fool’s forgotten and repressed actions that have bound him to physicality. He must voyage through his own prejudices, harmful acts, superstitions, and insanities; he must be buried in the bowels of the Earth in order to resurrect and conquer the Underworld once and for all. |
